Hamtramck Cat assistance Team (HCAT)

“Floppy” is a beautiful semi-feral kitty that loves taking long naps in the sun!

Work in Progress! But while we work you can enjoy the photos and info.

Hamtramck Cat Assistance Team (HCAT) is a non-profit organization whose sole purpose is to aid all Hamtramck cats and kittens; whether stray, homeless, feral or just forgotten, to live healthier and safer lives. We do this by providing food, water, shelter, medicine, veterinary care, TLC and when necessary rescue. All the kitties we impact are tested, vaccinated, dewormed, flea treated and sterilized. Cats that are feral are returned to a primary care giver and live the remainder of their lives outdoors. Homeless cats (friendlies) and kittens are cared for by a host of fosters until a permanent, loving and indoor-only home can be found for them. All the cats featured throughout this site have been positively impacted by the

efforts of the Hamtramck Cats Assistance Team. It’s our hope that you come away from this site moved and inspired to help in any manner you can whether through making a donation or volunteering. Together we can make a difference one kitty at a time!
